Accounts Receivable Specialist

This is a Full-time position in Lafayette, LA posted February 1, 2021.

Job Description: 

The Accounts ReceivableBilling Specialist is responsible for the timely and accurate creation ofinvoices in the accounting system to facilitate the timely invoicing ofcustomers while demonstrating a high level of customer service, improving cashflow and proper recording of financial information.

Responsible For:

  • Invoicing for three manufacturing facilities
  • Coding all sales and cost of goods sold to appropriate accounts
  • Integrating inventory into the accounting system for billing
  • Auditing of sales transactions for potential errors in pricing, product shipped, shipping method used, etc.
  • Timely delivery of invoices to customers
  • Preparing proforma invoices for first time customers or prepayments
  • Return authorizations
  • Processing credit/debit memos as needed
