Director of Logistics and Supply – Full Time

POSITION SUMMARY: The #Director of Logistics and Supply is responsible for implementing all associated activities of supply chain logistics # operations, #ensuring customer satisfaction and the objectives set forth by the Senior Director of Operations and VP of Supply Chain Services.# The Director of Logistics and Supply# ensures that all Supply Chain activities (to include purchasing, procurement, inventory, warehouse operations, etc) will result in the LCMC System receiving consistent, high quality and cost-effective goods and services.

Preferred: Master#s degree with focus on business, business administration healthcare administration marketing, engineering, logistics, or supply chain.

# Experience: Minimum Required:# 5 years in operations, logistics, supply chain, purchasing or closely related field.

Preferred:# 7 years in operations, logistics, supply chain, purchasing, specific to healthcare.

# # # License/Certification: Minimum Required:# ##### Preferred:# Certification with ISM, APICS, Healthcare Resource Management, CPM, or CPIM # Special Skills/Training: Minimum Required:# Intermediate expertise on Microsoft products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) Preferred:# Experience with inventory management/MMIS systems # # Reporting Relationships: Does this position formally supervise employees?# Yes If yes, then this position has the authority (delegated) to hire, terminate, discipline, promote or effectively recommend such to manager.
