Executive Program Director

Program Director – Jubilee Christmas

Job Status: Part-time, Salaried, Seasonal – October 1-December 31
Immediate Supervisor: Executive Program Director
Salary: $4,388; Benefits: NA
Terms of Employment: As specified in the LUM Personnel Policies
Usual schedule: 18.75 hours/week, flexible

Duties
Family Registration Invites low-income families to register in Jubilee Christmas Recruits, trains, schedules, and coordinates volunteers to register families Assigns families to host sites; provide list of families to host sites JC2 & JC3 once Jubilee Christmas is full, register families for JC2 & JC3 Secure facility, tables, sound system Volunteers – recruit and train volunteers Coordinates the involvement of JC coordinators, Host Sites and Partners Chairs JC coordinators meetings and supervises toy distribution Provides Host Sites with lists of families participating in their program Ensures the quantity and quality of gifts are uniform across sites Communicates with Jubilee Coordinators as needed Visits Jubilee Christmas sites on Jubilee Christmas day Solicits evaluation from Jubilee coordinators and participants Orders and distributes to host sites food and gift certificates Prepares marketing materials including social media and media coverage Toy Donations – recruits volunteers to staff toy donations, liaison to external toy drives and donations, coordinators distribution of toys to Host Sites
Other Responsibilities
Provides written report of monthly activities to Executive Program Director for presentation to the Board Attend biweekly staff meetings Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university Experience in program administration and volunteer recruitment and coordination Experience in program administration and volunteer recruitment and coordination and an ability to work cooperatively with diverse people and groups Mastery of spreadsheet software (MS Excel and Google Sheets) and CRM databases Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills Able to travel when needed as required by job duties Have a strong faith dynamic as expressed by a willingness to accept and support the LUM Mission Statement

Program Director – Community Thanksgiving Feast

Job Status: Half-time, Salaried, Seasonal – October 1-November 30
Immediate Supervisor: Executive Program Director
Salary: $3,042; Benefits: NA
Terms of Employment: As specified in the LUM Personnel Policies
Usual schedule: 18.75 hours/week, flexible

Duties
Event Day Attends and directs the celebration, including preparation, clean-up, and volunteer, coordination Recruits entertainment for prior to, and during the meal Secures site for following year’s celebration Prepares marketing materials including social media and media coverage Arranges for pickup and distribution of leftover food Purchases needed food and supplies Donations Raises funds for Community Thanksgiving Feast from local businesses, churches, individuals, and those in attendance at the celebration Solicits and coordinates food donations from local churches, community groups, and businesses Recruits, trains and schedules volunteers  Arranges for volunteers to set and decorate tables Arranges for setup and cleanup at celebration site Arranges for students to create centerpieces and placemats

Security Staff Position – Emergency Shelter

LUM has a potential opening with the Security Staff with the LUM Emergency Shelter.

Details are as follows:

Type: Part-time, paid
Hours: 11-20 hours per week
Shifts: 8 p.m.

to midnight -or
– midnight to 7 a.m.
Pay: $15.00 per hour
Duties:
Maintains safety of guests, volunteers and premises, a team environment modeling mutual respect, and a professional and safe environment Ensures compliance with Shelter Rules Monitors arrival, departure, activity within shelter, activity outside within three blocks of the building Disciplines guests who are noncompliant; refers guests to police when necessary Submits written reports of daily activities and incidents
